Taste of Osaka
Too excited to sit and sip a cup of coffee, So I ran to Family Mart (2 minuutes walk from Hotel Chuo) and grab chicken shots (JPY 200) and a can of coffee (JPY 160), and have my breakfast inside the train. (Off to Osaka Castle)
After a long walk from Osaka Castle to Osaka Mint Bureau, I got tired and hungry. Thank God I found this food stall selling ramen.
This is actually my first authentic Ramen in Japan, Shoyu Ramen (JPY 350). It’s good (gutom eh), but not that good enough compare to other Ramen I tried during the rest of the trip. And for dessert, got this chocolate coated banana!
For dinner, I ended up with this packed bento meal (JPY400), Yakitori (JPY 100) and Koiwai Milk Coffe (JPY 140) from Family Mart
Sa wakas, nakita ko din ang octopus na to. Hello Takoyaki (JPY 400)!
Taste of Nara
Ahhh, this chicken katsu (JPY 800) nailed it! Ang sarap….
Calbee Potato chips (JPY 120) for merienda habang nagmo-moments ako sa park.
And this Meiji Black Chocolate Bar (JPY 120) saves the day.
Taste of Kyoto
Since I checked-in Santiago Guesthouse, I tried Bolognese Pasta (JPY 1000) and Capuccion (JPY 450) at Santiago Bar and Cafe. Nothing good and special, I’m just so tired and hungry that all I want to do is to settle, rest my feet and have something to fill my stomach.
Just a few steps away from Santiago Guesthouse is a small restaurant which serves a very good authentic Japanese food. This bento has pork katsu, rice, pasta, slice of egg and ebi tempura (JPY 450).
Okinawa Soba, Ebi Tempura, and Japanese fried (JPY 1000) rice at one of the many restaurants in Kyoto Station.
Staff from Santiago Guesthouse recommended this famous Ramen House along Kiyomizu-Gojo. It’s a typical Japanese restaurant, which can only accomodate around 10 person.
I ordered Ebi Tempura Ramen (JPY 800). So far this is the best ramen I tasted (oh so good), that I guess I will crave after my Japan trip.
Meron din namang free sa Japan, in Kyoto, enjoy free taste of Japanese delicacies and tea…
Taste of Tokyo
Another bento (egg, pasta, tofu and tonkatsu) (JPY 900) from Ueno Station. Yum, yum, yum!
Gyoza (JPY 300) in Gotemba
Sausage, Yakitori and Chicken Wings (JPY 700) in Ueno
More Ramen using this coin-operated ordering machine at Tokyo.
Shio Ramen and vegetable tempura (JPY 700) in Tokyo Station
Ebi Tempura Udon(JPY 650) in Ueno
Nigiri Zushi on sale from JPY 400 to JPY 200 (Supermarket food is on sale from 7pm onwards)
Taste of Yokohama
Sorry, I was not able to capture the name and price of these dishes, since my friends (Rose and Jao) treated me for lunch and dinner during my 2 days in Yokohama.
At pampawala ng antok – Coffee!!!
at chocolates. Sobrang sarap ng japanese dark chocolates. Favorit ko talaga ang Lotte and Meiji since bata pa ko.
