Shopping for Korea beauty products is one part of our itinerary that we anticipate the most. I really admire K-pop artist, they realy have beautiful skin. Our love for Korea skin care products started when Etude, Face Shop, open in the Philippines. So, we’re really excited!
During our visit in Korea, I discovered how Koreans value beauty and vanity. I noticed, local brand beauty and cosmetic shops are everywhere, even in train station you can find a lot of it, compare to food and clothing stores. Pero wag masyaod ma-excite girls, I recommend you shop in Myungdong for local Korea brands. Bakit? Dahil……
In Myungdong, malulula ka sa dami ng store. Paulit-ulit, halos sa bawat street may Etude, Missha, Tony Moly, Face Shop, Skin Food, It Skin, mas maraming products, may mga daily promos… buy 1 take 1, big discounts and freebies.
Pagpasok mo pa lang bongga na ang freebies, bibigyan ka nila ng cute shopping basket with freebies, tapos when you buy they will give you more freebies. Korean sales ladies are outside inviting shoppers.
Bonggels ang freebies di ba?
Super cheap ang face mask! I heard from my cousin that, typical Korean girls apply face mask almost everyday.
And more Missha products, I highly recommend, Missha waterproof eyeliner (Php300), super dali i-apply and long-staying pa! I also like Missha loose powder (Php300), ang natural lang ng effect, gandang Koreana ang peg! Medyo nadala lang ako sa sales talk, when I bought this, Missha Time Revolution Night Repair Serum (Php1500) Pano ba naman, lagi nilang pinanpansin the 3 brown spots under my eyes… They told me, the product can lighten the brown spots and prevent new brown spots…. So syempre, dahil i conceal this brown spots, so try ko na rin baka effective nga! So far, nag-lighten na sila, pero visible pa din… 😦
Madami ding clothes, accessories, if bet mo ang Korean fashion, you can shop at Dongdaemun, Myundong, Itaewon, Ewha, Hongdae, and more. See Seoulistic’s 11 Best Places to Shop for Korean Fashion.
Syempre for pasalubong, we went to Lotte Supermarket and shop for Lotte Chocolates, Pocky, Ghana, Peperro, at kung ano-ano pa! Sa supermarkt they don’t provide paper/plastic bags, they don’t even sell, so don’t forget to bring shopping bags. Buti na lang we have extra plastic bag. 🙂
