La Luz Road Trip Diary

IMG_3304This week I started to feel the summer heat in the Philippines. Feel mo din ba? I guess, you already have plans to beat the summer by soaking to your favorite beaches all over the country! Boracay, Palawan, Cebu, Bohol or Bicol might  be in your travel list this summer of 2015. Or maybe somewhere just few hours drive away from Manila… Last January, I just discovered “La Luz Resort” a not so new beach getaway in Laiya, Batangas.

Mark planned everything (and I’m not used to it).Our wish is to escape our weekly routine of eating out either in Alabang, Nuvali or The Fort, we both want to relax by the sound of the waves, breeze of the ocean and spend quality time together. We (still) eat, read a good book, share our dreams and plans, and get to know more of each other. (kilig)

It’s raining on early Saturday morning, which make this road trip more exciting! I just love driving in the rain.

The rain just stopped and we saw this rainbow! Yieee.

On both side of the road are coconut trees! Yay, nature, nature, we’re really away from Manila!

Cabanas lined up at beach front

Stay at cabana is included in your day tour fee

We avail La Luz Resort Day Tour package which includes entrance fee, buffet lunch and afternoon snack for only P850/pax.  Definitely sulit! Masarap ang food, sulit! Cabana’s are clean and comfy (bring throw pillows, if you want to sleep). Beach is just right for a relaxing swim!

Give me the sun and the sea and a little spot just to be! – Pinterest
