Holy week 2016 means long break from work… After staying two days at home, after doing household chores and after reorganizing stuff, my husband and I spent two days staycation in Hyatt Hotel City of Dreams Manila to celebrate Easter Sunday. I used my Hyatt Gold Passport points, so our stay is free!
Our room was upgraded from standard to deluxe room for free (again). What a favor on a Black Saturday! Truly, the best things in life are free!
Look what they prepared for us, a bittersweet dark chocolate cake topped with fresh strawberry. Just because I told them, we’re on a honeymoon!
Our room was spacious… And the bed, sobrang lambot! That I wanted to buy the bed sheet and all those stuff, yes, they sell it. But it’s too expensive, so deadma-dela na lang.
From our room is overlooking the poolside area.
We had dinner at Red Ginger, this restaurants serves, Asian, Indonesian & Malaysian food. We tried Gai Yang, a traditional Siam-Style Garlic and Lime Grilled Chicken and Penang’s Char KwayTeow. It quite pricey, considering it come in small servings.
We capped off the night with a well-crafted cocktails at The Lounge. It’s our first time to drink outside together. hahaha.
On Easter Sunday, we took this time as opportunity to pray and thank God for guiding and blessing us in the beginning of our marriage journey. Then we celebrate, remembering that Jesus is risen at The Cafe.
It was a good weekend break for us! We were definitely recharge, so ready to go back home. Thank you Hyatt for this reward!
Marriage is getting to have a sleep over with your best friend, every single night of the week.
