It’s prayer and fasting week again tomorrow and I’m really excited to join Victory to corporately fast as a church. I admit it, fasting is not my favorite spiritual discipline, I only do this when there’s a corporate prayer and fasting … Continue reading

Here are my takeaways from Victory series, when questions are answers, that I want to share to my readers.
Question 1: Why are you so afraid❓
This question was asked in Luke 8:22-25, when Jesus calms the storm. “Then he said to them, “Where is your faith?” But they were afraid and amazed, saying to one another, “Who then is this? He commands even the winds and the water, and they obey him!” -Luke 8:25
I can relate to one of the disciples inside the boat, I’m sure I would react that way, I will be scared, fearful and do what I can to save my life. Oooopps, i missed my powerful God in the situation, i almost forgot that I can pray and seek God and save from this trouble. Storms will come thats for sure, it is part of life. But the question is, how do we face storms? Maybe you’re like me and disciple, afraid, stressed, because we’re facing the storm on our own.
⚡️God allows storms to make something good out of us. 1 Peter 4:12 says “Dear friends, do not be astonished that a trial by fire is occurring among you, as though something strange were happening to you.”
⚡️After the storm passed and experience How God calms thee storm and how He’s been there for us during trials and pain. Storms bring us joy. 1 Peter 1:6 says “This brings you great joy, although you may have to suffer for a short time in various trials.”
⚡️Storms builds character. 1 Peter 1:7 says “Such trials show the proven character of your faith, which is much more valuable than gold – gold that is tested by fire, even though it is passing away – and will bring praise and glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.”
The god news is Jesus is with us to calm the storm! We just need to be
Quiet. Be still.
Jesus did not just calm the sea but He also calmed the hearts of the disciples.
Dear Father, You are bigger than any storms in my life, i trust you, you are faithful, You cares, You knows what we’re going through, You are in control, You see the bigger picture, You knows the end-to-end and You can calm every storms we face, today i pray, quiet my heart and mind Father, i ask for your grace to be still and know that you are my God. Amen.

Last year one of my spiritual faith goals was achieved… It is to participate and graduate Training for Victory. I really love to join this training because i know, all the things i can learn from this will help me to grow deeper in my relationship with God. And i’m right, actually I discover it’s more than that… Through this intensive training i have stronger spiritual foundation, i learned the value of quiet times with God, i learned that God wants to overflow us with so much blessings so that we can bless others. After training for victory, I am now more confident to share my faith with my family & friends.
Thanks to Victory Alabang, to all the Pastors, John, Sonny, Ariel, Jonathan, King, Jansen, Dexter, and the rest of the speackers who have shared the goodness and faithfulness of God in their lives.
After Christmas dinner with my Victory group, we hang-out at Haagen Dazs in Alabang Town Center and tried their chocolate fondue. Sinful right?
But we don’t care, its Christmas and its time to enjoy good food with good friends. We’re all hype and excited for our ice cream, choco fondue and toppings! woot^woot^
After few hours…. Ang sarap naman kasi!!!
Our first ever Singles Retreat with Victory Family was last September 2009. Together with my Victory group, Cai, Libby, Bevs, Carol, Iris and Ron. I also invited my sister Jell to come with me, because I believe that God has so much in store for us for this retreat… More than the beautiful “Boracay Island” I’m very expectant that God will reveal His love and promises for every singles who will be part of this retreat.
Day 1 is our free time, we had a great day walking in the beach, enjoying the beautiful sunset…
And a welcome night, a good chance to meet new friends from Victory. Then dinner along the beach with my small group friends ;b
Day 2, we have our own version of amazing race, where we have to go around the island to look for some stuff and imitate pictures and take a good shot!
And at night we have a luau a party, where every group prepares a presentation… This is also the awards night.
Day 3, is our free time! We choose to spend it with the rest of the singles for an island hopping, lunch & shopping at talipapa, dip in the beach, get a henna tattoo and do nothing while sitting in the white sands of Bora. It was one of the happiest part of this trip.
At night we celebrate Bev’s bday at Starbucks, eat a cheap yummy barbeque and spend the rest of the night at bamboo lounge bar…
Day 4, before we leave the island, me & sis enjoy the turquoise colored water of the beach and took more pictures.
He will prolong my life and & bring prosperity (if I keep God’s commands & teachings in my ❤
I will win favor & good name (if i’ll be faithful & loving)
He will make my paths straight (If i will trust in Him alone)
I will be bless with overflowing resources (finances) – if I honor the Lord with my wealth & give tithes.
Long life, riches & honor, peaceful paths, pleasant ways, blessings after blessings (if i seek Godly wisdom)
Confidence (if i will not fear & start trusting Him)
Grace (if i will be humble)
Do not withhold good for those who deserve it
Help NOW, tomorrow might be too late
Don’t plot your neighbor
Don’t envy violent man
Don’t accuse man for no reason
Or else I will have to face the consequences of disobedience.
i missed EN 2010 experience! i miss praising God while the building literally shakes and trembles while everyone sing and dance for joy as we worship our amazing God, Jesus! this is the best place to be “in the presence of the Lord”, worshipping & praising God together with other believers from different nation is such a taste of heaven! awesome 🙂 God’s love and faithfulness for us is really awesome…
each day, God has different message for me. Here’s my notes:
Ptr. Grace message ♥♡♥There is love, victory, favor, in the table of the Lord. There’s enough in the table of the Lord. God invites us to feast in the table He prepares for us! what a privilege isn’t it?
Ptr. Rice Brooks ♥♡♥ Change the campus, change the world!
Efren Penaflorida’s ♥♡♥ Serve. Serve others above yourself. Be happy to serve!
Darlene Zsech’s ♥♡♥ We are created to give glory, not to receive glory ♥♡♥ Stay hungry to honor God ♥♡♥ Speak out the love of God in your life ♥♡♥ we exist to make disciple, not to make a celebrity
Ptr. Jackie ♥♡♥ If we do God’s business, God will take care of our business
Ptr. Steve ♥♡♥ Honor! Honor is designed to remind where our place is..
Ptr. Yesupadam ♥♡♥ This is the message of love, hope, this is a message that has power to save and transform lives!
What greatly strikes me is the realization of we exists because of a higher purpose. More than being blessed, being a blessing to family and friends, we exist to blessed others! We are created by God not just to live and be merry, but also to be a blessing to others. We have to stop sometimes and reach out to other people and love them, like what Jesus did.
